watch made by the master watchmaker John Ellicott from
London, England around 1730. Both
case made of silver. Case marked Kroon
- EC - Punt. ( see the Pictures )
White Enamel dial plate with
polychrome Dutch Harbour - Canal scene.
Watch-maker John Ellicott LONDON.
Roman
and Arabic
numerals, pierced gilt hand. Verge escapement with
chain and fuse. Age-related very nice overall condition. The
movement is running correctly. Outer Case Signed. Glass
with bulls eye and
Lens is in very good condition, undamaged.

is Made for the Dutch Market !
The
Silver outer case decorated with a classical (
Mythological / Allegorical ) scene in finely chased and engraved
repoussé work within a rococo frame. Inside
