An extraordinarily and marvellous surreal erotic scene displayed over all the four panels (pages) portraying all kinds of supernatural protagonists such as a rokurokubi (a long necked demon) with an erect penis kissing another female ghost. On the first panel (left) it features Kitsune, a fox shaped spirit with magical powers who can appear in various forms with a phallus in her hand. The female ghost is leaning on a straw hat worn by a tanuki, normally a raccoon dog but here transformed into a kid with big eyes, a large tongue and a huge scrotum. The association with foxes is emphasized by the inclusion of burning kitsunebi (aka. 'fox lights' or ' will-o'-the-wisps') in the air.

A striking image featuring a (very rarely depicted!) female samurai with a candleholder attached to the top of her head. She's making love to another samurai but at the same time she's drawing her katana (Japanese sword) because there seems to be something ominous behind them.

A hypnotizing surreal design featuring a cat in human clothes playing the shamisen (three-stringed guitar)
accompanied by a female figure with a large head cleaning her teeth with a toothpick. A huge inro (a Japanese case for storing maller objects) behind them conjures up a daimyo (Japanese warlord belonging to the samurai warrior caste) procession with phallus-headed men carrying a palanquin. On the plate in front of this mysterious couple lays a boiled octopus.

A very rare piece of Japanese art !

A mesmerizing dreamlike image depicting two remarkable protagonists. The dancing bird-like figure (the older wiser fox spirit can adapt countless shapes!) on the left is holding a rope with phallus-shaped Shinto shrine bells (suzu) attached to it. The chimera (a fabulous creature with parts from various animals) on the right, who has a cat-like body with the head of a fish (and three eyes) and is wearing a purple kimono displaying various phallus related objects, is holding a black prayer box which conjures up a festival involving phallus-headed people.

A magnificent piece !
