The extraordinarily talented artist who created these unique paintings below was clearly inspired by print designs of Hokusai and Keisai Eisen and in particular from the series A Light Spring Snow (Haru no usuyuki), Hair in Disarray (Midare gami) and Young Pine Saplings (Kinoe no komatsu).

The love-making couples in the images are placed in a dreamlike setting surrounded by separating gold-colored clouds.
All the attention of the beholder is focused on the centre of the image and is immediately attracted to the activities of the involved couple.”
