Masatsugu’s Baibobo sensei injoho (c.1760)

In this series Masatsugu displays an undulating style characterized by rounded lines and flowing textiles.It represents a style in Edo books that preceded Suzuki Harunobu and Isoda Koryusai. An obscure Osaka print artist, Masatsugu is probably best known as an designer of illustrated books.
