“Famous often copied design featuring an intimate couple who are distracted by something outside. Kuniyoshi paid a lot of attention to the details of the giant tattoo on the back of the male.”

This Kuniyoshi series was a very popular edition and was reproduced several times. Striking is the absence of text within the image. The original series from 1840 is a rare find nowadays !
